Liberia Rising: Empowering Communities
OUR STORY
The Best Is Yet To Come.
On November 24, 2022 seven delegates from the United States attended the National Convention in Monrovia, Liberia, hosted by Bishop Nathaniel and Mother Martha Zarway. During their visit they had the opportunity to visit their Palm Oil Farm, where the Palm Nut Oil is produced. The process is intense and laborious taking at least eleven to twelve hours to produce a mere five gallons of Palm Nut Oil. Mother Zarway's vision is to transform the Palm Nut Oil Farm into a state of the art development with capacity to support The Refuge Cathedral, Mother Zarway's mobile clinic, Mother Zarways Clinic, The W.L. Bonner School and several orphanages.
In response to the great need in Liberia, a non-profit fundraising organization Liberia-Rising was created by Pastor Jeremiah Jones. To date they have raised approximately $55,000, purchasing a new generator, a lawn mower and donating to the completion of the Refuge Cathedral assisting the school with supplies and purchasing much needed food for the orphanages.
